Hi Folks! Thanks for checking us out!
A Vermont native, Nealy has been with Skinny Pancake since 2009, starting in our Lake St. location as a Manager and Art Coordinator. In 2012, she moved into HYCC as Sales and Account Management, before becoming General Manager. As The Community Sales Director, Nealy works with guests to achieve their event dreams. Whether it be a 200 person wedding or a local fundraiser held at one of our locations, Nealy is here to make it happen.
During her free time, she enjoys family and friends, creating leather products under “Found and Foraged”, enjoying live music and taking in all of Vermont’s delicious offerings. Her absolute favorite HYCC dish is the Butternut Squash & Pumpkin Ravioli!
General Manager, Have Your Cake Catering
We’re sure if you’ve worked with HYCC before, you’ve met our girl Leah! She is the General Manager of Have Your Cake Catering – and she’s a true example of how we love to keep it local even within the Skinny family.
Leah started with Skinny Pancake more than 5 years ago as a caterer. She continued to work her way up to Banquet Captain, Operations Manager, Accounts Manager and now General Manager!
One of her favorite parts of working for HYCC is that, “it has allowed me to gain a deeper commitment and passion for the local food scene, as well as community involvement. I love being able to work with places around our communities, so many local artists, and civic groups throughout the state.”
But of course, none of our weddings are executed without the help of some of our favorite vendors. Leah says, “I think it’s so much fun to see some of our favorite people throughout the summer! Going back to some of our favorite venues, and working with old friends is always great!”
This new kid on the block has been with HYCC since the spring of 2017, but she’s no stranger to Pancakia. Growing up in Montpelier, VT she’s been a long time fan of afternoon crepes and cheese curds in her “hometown Skinny.” With a background in event planning and design, Rylee joins our team as our Event Sales Manager! Rylee has had the chance to jump in feet first to the summer swing of HYCC – exploring everything from chatting with guests on the phones, to singing along to Shout! at every wedding this year.
Trying the menu items has been one of her greater joys – and she can’t say she has just one favorite. But her favorites to recommend to new guests? The sun-dried tomato and scallion cream cheese stuffed wontons and, of course, the Chubby mac and cheese!
He’s more behind the scenes, but we know his food is often the star of the show! Will is our Catering Chef and he has been with us for 6 years now. You can find him working in the kitchen, creating the meals that give our guests a real taste of that local Vermont flavor. When asked, what his favorite part of working with HYCC is, he says, “Inventory…just kidding! One of the best parts of being with HYCC is having the ability to help people make a menu that keeps their event unique and special. For weddings we tend to get a little more freedom in making the menu, and it lets me be creative in the kitchen. That’s always nice.”
One of those menu items (that we know is a fan favorite too,) is the Seasonal Beggar’s Purse, that is Will’s favorite.
And when he’s not in the kitchen in the summer, you can find him on the softball field. He’s the MVP of the Skinny Pancake team!
